Way Past Time
02:34

We got foxes in the hen house
And the Penn house has been
occupied
We got everything to worry about
And the jury’s not out
They’re just terrified
Everyone’s overwhelmed trying to
get with the 24/7
that’s spinning and spinning around
And it’s way past time
That we put this good ‘ol boys club
down
The emperor’s new clothing is on fire
so his subjects
burn
They’re mixing their despair with
their desire and
they never learn
Everyone’s overwhelmed trying to
get with the 24/7
that’s spinning and spinning around
And it’s way past time
That we put these Traders down -
Spread some love around

Hey why you talking trash and putting people down
You should be lifting spirits high above the ground
Give a little bit of love give a little bit love
You’re always talking bout how things don’t go your way
You never listen to a single thing I say
Give a little bit o love
You’re always crying that you got to sing the blues
You should be trying walk a mile in my shoes
Give a little bit o love

It's Alright
02:15
|

So we were just walking down the street
and it was this beautiful Summer evening
and she turns to me and says
how come you never told me you loved
me thirty years ago when we first met.
And I said, well, it must have been fate,
even though I don’t believe in fate. I don’t
believe in The Easter bunny either.
But it got me wondering , about
everything that’s possible and how the
sacred can hide in the everyday
All the things we hold close that we
shouldn’t
and the things we just let the wind blow
away
You gotta love it like there’s no tomorrow
pain or sorrow
You gotta light the way with
Everything you feel and say
It’s alright
It’s alright
So I started thinking about Our lives.
About how far away and how connected
We’ve always been.
About how I never thought in a million
years...
And then fate, which I don’t believe in, as
you know, opened this door just a
little ,and we just slipped right through

Paris
03:28
|
|||
It’s comforting to think that there’s no god
who’s looking down
Disappointed,disillusioned,
Calmly disavowed
High speed trains and lazy rivers
Coexist somehow
Flowing past each other
just outside of Paris
Unlikely abstract lovers
in the early morning light
And you can almost feel the snow
Yes I’m sure the snow is coming
And this city seems to breath
like it’s actually alive
And these streets seem both familiar
and still somehow exotic
To a New York Californian
In my 5th reincarnation
With an unfamiliar language
swirling ‘round me like the snow
Oh wake up! wake up
The days are going so fast
They’re turning into weeks and months and
years
And every time I turn around
The world is turning faster
A blur of love and laughter
Tides and tears
Now there’s no time like the present
And if there’s any time at all
There’s no time that’s not precious
No time we couldn’t fall
So if we hold each other
That’s the best that we can do
Flowing like the rivers
Just outside of Paris
Destined lifetime lovers
In the chilly morning air

Last Call's Calling
03:23
|
|||
It’s almost criminal to watch her
She dances like no ones around
She dances like a fallen angel
Or something not quite heaven bound
A crowd is gathering ‘round the dance floor
She holds them captive with a sway
It’s like a dream that they’re all sharing
A ship that carries them away
Everyone’s watching and waiting and wondering
Everyone’s watching and waiting and wondering
Everyone’s watching and waiting and wondering
Everyone’s watching and waiting and wondering
night is falling
last call’s calling
It’s time to go but no ones going
She’s like a building burning down
She’s like a river overflowing
And all you want to do is drown
And all you want to do is reach out
But you can’t touch a thing so free
But you can’t drag your eyes away now
So she just pulls you out to sea
